Tala

Introduction to Tala

Tala was an administrative Division of the Geography of Nepal which was larger than a Village or Gram but smaller than Drang.

The Term “Tala” itself means Plain Land. It was just used to indicate that there are multiple villages included in this Division.

Tala was governed by a Government Officer known as Talapati. They were hired by the Government including Sarvadandanayak and Mahapratihar.
