Introduction to Dharmadhikari
Dharmadhikari was an Important Part of the Judicial and Legal Administration of the Malla Dynasty. They were the Ministers of Law with extensive Knowledge of the Dharma Shastras.
In the context of Nepal, they were the Brahmins who advised their King in administering the Laws, creating rules and regulations, and applying such laws based on Religious Texts.
