Introduction to Prasaphum

King Prasaphum belongs to the list of 32 Kirat Kings as proposed by Gopal Raja Bansawali.

The Bansawali has mentioned that he ruled over Nepal for 38 years and 6 Months.

He was eventually succeeded by King Pava and he himself was the successor of King Tuske. He was the 10th King of the Kirat Dynasty.

Other Genealogies have completely omitted his name. Indicative Names are present in the Genealogy of Kirkpatrick and Daniel Wright.

However, it doesn’t act as conclusive to ascertain that it was actually Prasaphum these genealogies have mentioned.
